...and Carnelian, freshwater pearls, jet beads, and a few Swarovski's for bling!
Love the celtic charm.... I'm probably going to do this as a class a GRB, too!
Featuring some glass beads from GRB, a charm from a San Jose shop, and a GUITAR PICK! I rock! Gotta get something published!
...I helped her design and make it....she's new to wire-work. But it turned out great!
Bad self-portrait.... it's a polygon clear crystal with a "tassle" of opal and ab bicones on silver ball head pins. The pendant is a larger version on a bail...
I chose the AB finish on the crystals... just to add more sparkle! I really think they'll be appropriate for proms or *sniff*- wedding pearls!
Accented with 3 sizes of Swarovski bi-cone crystals and silver-plated filigree beads.
My friend Lori commissioned me to make her a version of a mother's bracelet, using Swarovski cubes to denote her children's birthdays.
A toursad-style, 6 strands, w/ SS clasp. One of the first pieces I'd made.... I wanted it to feel like the Carribean Ocean... and our birthstone is aquamarine- so I used that, peridot, turquoise quartz, freshwater pearls, and some glass beads for sparkle. I really like it. Should make one for myself....
Using cathedral glass, Swarovski crystal, and sterling silver snowflake charms. For Holly, of course...who LOVES snowflakes!
I liked the two-layer efffect- the first one rests at choker-length.... the drop is "dead sexy" length!
I originally envisioned this as a lariat... but apprently, the BM's are a bit conservative & didn't get it... so I re-did it as a double-layer.... but the pretty stuff (clasp & drops) are meant to be worn in the front.... but you could wear it the tradiational way, too.... it's just not as striking. I hope I can get some photos of the BM's wearing them....
I just used some glass beads from my stash- and the "spirit" and hand charms I made from shrink plastic. (See post 5/8/06)
See how the shrinkies shine? I added a layer of Royal Topcoat Glaze by Plaid on top. Love that stuff! Very shiny glass-like finish, and you can use it on paper, plastic, cardboard, etc, for an epoxy-like shine.
