I like to work in a series, each one a little different. It gives me a chance to "play" a little, and experiment with different designs or colors.
Made these little cuties from scratch... they are highly addictive to make, and a fun way to use up scrapbooking left-overs...
I inked the inside pages a little for texture... added some stickers- I like those photo-realistic Mrs. Grossman's ones...I figure that these are just the right size for those thumbnail prints you get with your photo order... or little quotes... whatever.
Body made if light-weight cardboard- paint drizzle on, then scraped off w/ old credit card. When that was dry, I stamped using solvent ink. Wings & skirt were made of dyed coffee filters. There are also a set of stamped & chalked wings... and a few gew-gaws glued on.
Some dyed watercolor paper, and the one on the right is scrapbook paper. Dream is stamped on ribbon, and the other quote is printed on vellum.
